PROFILE
Born into a family heavily involved in racing, Shaun has ridden ridden since childhood. He then went on to become a professional jockey, head lad, then assistant trainer. Shaun then joined his father, Mick, in the family horse transport business. Moorhouse Horse Transport is now based at the family home at Moorhouse Equestrian Centre.
During his time in racing Shaun developed an interest in the reschooling of racehorses who's racing careers had ended, and has successfully rehabilitated and reschooled numerous ex racers who have gone on to successful careers in showjumping etc. Shaun was approached by Di Arbuthnot of Retraining of Racehorses and is now listed on their database as a recommended retrainer.
